Make it Disappear in March

Yes I am revealing a secret to you that is absolutely worth knowing. Why? Spring is right around the corner with flowers, sunshine and cheerful people. I want you to feel that you've done your best to achieve clean and healthy skin. I don't want you to be afraid to reveal yourself naturally with or without makeup. Feel comfortable with who you are.

So for those days that you wake up and wonder why you are consistently having small breakouts, here's the trick. It's only about $8.00 at your local drugstore and you can use it after cleansing your face with your normal skincare system. If you have sensitive skin I would be careful using this product, and if you do... just be gentle. You should feel like the commercials and casually move the pad through the affected areas on your face.

Give it about 3 days and I promise if you use it in the morning and evening, you will notice results. Good luck!

" Take Vitamin Alphabet"

It's true. Everyone and their ancestor recommends every vitamin for some specific reason. Then of course you begin to think either A. I can't afford this or B. I need to get to GNC as soon as possible before my health falls apart. Well guess what... Have no fear! It's actually what you don't know about that is keeping you healthy. ( You're probably thinking.. I'm not a size 6 like I want to be, so clearly I'm not doing enough!)
Actually that's not the way to think at all. Turns out, all of those times you thought the hair models for Herbal Essences or Garnier Fructis had really fake hair and skin - well you could actually look similar to them!
The catch?
Your body wants to be nourished. Not only is it craving a healthy amount of sleep, food to increase energy levels and  caffeine to jump start your neurons in your big melon mind, but it needs protein to develop healthy hair and nails! Quit complaining about others around you having beautiful hair. Complement them! Once you realize how good it feels to complement someone else, you'll begin to understand the beauty of feeling beautiful.
How?
Nourishing your body with healthy protein begins with eating some of the following:
Bananas
beans
cauliflower
eggs
lentils
peanuts
salmon
flaxseed
fish oil
mackerel
sardines
spinach
tuna
walnuts
Chicken
lean red meats (95%)
lowfat dairy
seafood
soybeans
whole grains
 Apricots
broccoli
cantaloupe
carrots
Cheddar cheese
mangoes
oatmeal
Cashews
green beans
lean beef
lobster
oysters

You didn't really think I'd put them in alphabetical order did you? I knew you would just scan for foods you're a fan of.. this way.. you actually have to read the list to see if you're already eating these foods. Good luck! Watch out for healthy hair and nails. I promise you that you will see a difference. Like anything, don't overload, but enjoy them in healthy moderation! I didn't bother telling you that it's Vitamin H or Biotin because realistically.... with the hustle and bustle of people's lives these days, we only have the time to focus on what we really need to eat and how it will help us. So here you areLearn more.
Enjoy !

Soul Food

One of the best ways to excite your mood, thoughts and emotions toward your life is to listen to music that invites you to think deeper. I thought I'd share you with a few great tunes that will let you relax at the end of the day, get a few things done online or to simply work through a few projects. These aren't exceedingly uplifting, however they are more relaxing and enjoyable. Don't expect to fall asleep, but don't expect to replace your coffee with these jams. Check them out on either Pandora or Grooveshark.

Happy listening!

Irresistible Cupcakes!

So almost all of your childhood, you probably grew up indulging in a favorite sweet. Whether it was Flintstone Push-Ups, ice-cream, Choco-Taco's, Snickers, M&M's, your mom's muffins or brownies, cupcakes or pie.. you had a sweet tooth for something!
Well now, as featured in O Magazine, there is the fabulous idea of Cupcakes in a Jar! I know of so many cute cupcake shops that display such gorgeous little cakes.. it's fun to see them placed in a jar. I'm curious if the market will find the jars becoming wasteful.Maybe stores who sell them could recycle their jars? ( a green-friendly approach)

Simplify & Clarify Your Day

I just recently came across a magazine who lives by the same moto and lifestyle that I do. It revolves around living on the "sweet side of life". I have always referenced my motto to living on the sweeter edge of life and relating it to the amount of inspiration and passion you put into your life. While exploring their site, I found a great blog incorporating ways to simplify your life.

I think it's easy to get carried away as Spring Break comes and goes so quickly, everyone feels there's so much they need to accomplish. Anything from losing weight, to staying tan, finalizing taxes, paying off loans, graduating, etc...the list never ends.

when life gets hectic.. often times people forget to stop and sip the sweet tea in their cup!

What's Your Fashion Telling Others?

Here's a fun quiz from one of my TOP sites that I absolutely love.

If you're not in love too.. you're missing out..

Also, in case you're running out of time to catch the latest styles for spring.. Here's the heads up!

What do you think?

Are you a fan of the Spring 2011 look?

Favorites: I'm in love with the top picks minus the wide-leg jeans and the crochet purse. I'm in love with the crochet tops that are out while they're paired with a cami or tank.. but not the bag.

A Quick Pick-Me-Up: What a great way to project your mood and set yourself up for a great day... all through the color of your style & DRESS!

Tell me what you think!
